Your burglar alarm system should have motion detectors covering all areas (including the cigarette storage cabinets) and glass breakage detectors covering the windows. The alarm system should be connected to a U.L.C. listed monitoring station with a dedicated line (dvac line) or a cellular phone back up system that will ensure that an alarm signal gets to the monitoring station even if the phone lines were cut.
