Who is Eligible for Student Accident Insurance?

Students
Students attending Canadian schools (other than universities or colleges) can apply, as an individual or as part of a family plan, in any one of the plans offered on the application form. If you have students enrolled in different schools or school boards, they may all be insured under this plan.

Day Care, Nursery and Pre-Schoolers
Children attending a LICENSED day care, nursery or pre-school may apply, as an individual or as part of a family plan, in any one of the plans offered on the application form.

University and College Students
University and College students may only apply for the "University Plan" as an individual and cannot be included under the family plan.

Mature Students
Mature students can apply for Plan 1 only as an individual and cannot be included under the family plan. Dismemberment (Loss of Use), (TPD) Total and Permanent Disability, Orthodontic Treatment, Dread Disease and Future Dental Benefits are not included for such applicants.

* Teachers and Non-Teaching Personnel are not eligible for coverage.
